Parkinson Underground

PARKINSON'S DISEASE is commonly diagnosed in people over 65, and is a neurological, degenerative, progressive and incurable disease!

At the beginning of the year 2020, the singer Ozzy Osbourne went public talking about the diagnosis of Parkinson's, which he received a few years ago, but which is now seriously compromising the artist, even canceling a tour that was about to start.

In addition to Ozzy Osbourne, guitarist Glenn Tipton of the band Judas Priest and drummer Pat Torpey of the band Mr. Big were also diagnosed with Parkinson's disease, however, Mr. Big's drummer died in 2018, due to Parkinson-related issues, which André and Vanessa know very well what they are.

That is why the Batera Superação Parkinson Project created and attached another Co Project in its grid, which is the "PARKINSON UNDERGROUND". One of the objectives of this project is to participate in the Underground scene and strengthen it, whether integrating with a band or organizing and supporting events.

ParkinsOZZ

Three more musicians joins Andre to form the Band ParkinsOzz, and perform a performance in tribute to the aforementioned idols, playing classics from Madman and also from some other bands, with a duration of approximately 50 minutes, thus showing that music therapy is important and very effective in its treatment, helping to overcome them day after day, being living proof that it is possible to have a better quality of life and overcome the obstacles that life imposes on us, even though it is a progressive disease with no cure.
